Clay Mackie

Boundless College Ministry Leader

Clay is originally from Catawba, North Carolina.  He came to Lynchburg in 2005 to attend Liberty University.  During his freshman year, the Lord began to expose his religious hypocrisy and eventually brought him to genuine faith in Christ.  As he grew in Christ, the Lord fueled his desire for ministry.  He graduated with a BA in Biblical Studies in 2009 and was introduced to the ministry of Timberlake by a close friend.  In 2010, he transitioned his membership and enrolled in The Expositors Seminary.

During this time, Clay met his future wife, Mary, in the Boundless college ministry, and they were married in October of 2013.  Clay graduated seminary in 2015 with a Master of Divinity degree.

After graduation, Clay began serving as a pastoral assistant to Pastor Ferrell and eventually transitioned to leading the college ministry in the fall of 2017.  He also now oversees small groups and serves as the local administrator for The Expositors Seminary.  He and his wife Mary have two children: Colin and Eleanor.
